COURSE DESCRIPTION

TARGET POPULATION:

This program is intended for persons who need, or who are needing, to know the contents of the federal regulations governing operations at a hazardous waste work site, treatment, storage, and disposal facility, or emergency response situations. Personnel who need to know, or who anticipate needing to know, the contents of the federal regulations governing operations at a hazardous waste work site, treatment, storage, and disposal facility, or emergency response situations.

Description:

This program is intended to provide general information about the Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) Standard, 29 CFR 1910.120. The program is intended to inform you about the various kinds of operations that are regulated and the sections of the Final Rule that apply to these operations.

Instructor Qualifications:

One instructor who possesses extensive knowledge of 29 CFR 1910.120, OSHA standards referenced in the Final Rule, and other related EPA and DOT regulations, is required.
